Cleaning Up the Chaos (In My Pantry & Your Move)

by Ally Richardson

The other day I came home from a showing to make burrito bowls for the family and went into the pantry to grab my ingredients.

Then I went back in and reached for the rice cooker (a must). Somehow, as I pulled it down from the top shelf, the cord miraculously wrapped around a jar of salsa sitting next to it.

It felt like slow motion as the jar tumbled… and ultimately crashed. It didn’t just shatter—it exploded like a salsa grenade, covering every product, appliance, and surface in the pantry with tomatoes, onions, and garlic. WONDERFUL.

I stood there, frozen in shock, wondering where to even start.

Do I grab paper towels? A mop? Cry? The mess was everywhere, and for a moment, I felt totally overwhelmed.

And honestly? That’s how a lot of people feel when they start thinking about buying or selling a home. They know they want to move, but when it comes to what to do first, who to call, or how to navigate the process. It can feel like a giant, overwhelming mess.

That’s why having a go-to real estate agent is so important. Someone who can walk you through every step, answer your questions before you even think to ask them, and make sure the whole process feels way less stressful (and way more exciting!).

So, if you’re even thinking about making a move this year, let’s chat. I’d love to be that person for you! No mess required.
