What Most People Are Looking for When They Buy A Home

by Ally Richardson

I went to the farmers market last weekend, and I have a rule for every time I go.

You can’t leave with just groceries. You have to leave with something fun. It’s the farmers market rule.

And every time I’m there, I notice something else too.

People are chatting with vendors. Kids are carrying lemonade. Couples are walking around with coffee deciding what to make for dinner that night. Dogs are pulling their owners on their leashes (my fav).

This is the feeling…it’s what most people are looking for when they buy a home.

Yes, they care about bedrooms and square footage.

But what they’re really buying is Saturday mornings like that.

A house is important. But the life around it is what makes it special.

If you ever want to talk about neighborhoods around here that have that kind of feeling to them, I’m always happy to help.
